Earlier this morning, district leaders and school board members also participated in the 9/11 Ceremony hosted by Goochland County Fire-Rescue at Fire Station 5 to honor the lives lost and the courage of first responders.

From being a visible presence in our buildings, to responding in moments of need, to collaborating with us on proactive safety initiatives—these teams go above and beyond for our community.

✅ All students attend school

We are so proud of our Goochland High School seniors! At this morning’s Senior Scholarship Breakfast, students were awarded over 65 scholarships from 28 generous organizations and community partners.
This event celebrated not only the hard work of our students but also the incredible support of our community, which continues to invest in the future of our graduates. Congratulations to all of our scholarship recipients—you make GHS proud!

🔥 Special Olympics Torch Run & Unified Track Meet 🏃♂️🏃♀️
Yesterday’s Unified Track Meet between Goochland High School and Monticello High School began with an inspiring Special Olympics Torch Run, led by the Goochland County Sheriff’s Office and supported by Goochland County Fire-Rescue.
We are so grateful for our first responders and their continued support of inclusive events that celebrate unity, sportsmanship, and student achievement. The energy, teamwork, and Bulldog pride were on full display as athletes from both schools competed side by side.
