Ms. Rodriguez’s women’s fitness class took their workout outdoors with a visit to a beautiful sunflower patch 🌞💪. They were joined by Ms. Day, who not only captured some incredible photos but also gave students a quick lesson in photography along the way. A perfect mix of movement, creativity, and collaboration! 📸✨

✅ First day for Preschool, Kindergarten, 6th grade, and 9th grade students ONLY

📅 Tuesday, August 19
✅ All students attend school

Goochland Social Services, in partnership with the Henrico Education Foundation, is excited to bring the Dolly Parton Imagination Library to our community!

Children from birth to age five can receive a free, high-quality book every month — no income requirements, no strings attached.

Our goal: reach 85% of all eligible children in Goochland. Let’s make it happen!

We are so proud of our Goochland High School seniors! At this morning’s Senior Scholarship Breakfast, students were awarded over 65 scholarships from 28 generous organizations and community partners. This event celebrated not only the hard work of our students but also the incredible support of our community, which continues to invest in the future of our graduates. 🔥 Special Olympics Torch Run & Unified Track Meet 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️ Yesterday’s Unified Track Meet between Goochland High School and Monticello High School began with an inspiring Special Olympics Torch Run, led by the Goochland County Sheriff’s Office and supported by Goochland County Fire-Rescue. We are so grateful for our first responders and their continued support of inclusive events that celebrate unity, sportsmanship, and student achievement. The energy, teamwork, and Bulldog pride were on full display as athletes from both schools competed side by side.

These Bulldogs are continuing their journeys in theatre, visual arts, and dance at the collegiate level, and we couldn’t be prouder. 👏 Join us in congratulating them on this exciting next step. Their creativity, dedication, and passion inspire us all!

Congratulations to Goochland High School’s JROTC unit on winning the Regional Championship at today’s MCJROTC Raider Competition! Our cadets showed outstanding strength, teamwork, and determination as they competed against top units from across the region — and came out on top! We are so proud of their hard work and leadership. Way to go, Bulldogs! 🇺🇸🏆💪
