All Night Graduation
The All-Night Graduation Committee (ANG) would like to apologize for postponing Bingo which was scheduled for Saturday, November 12th. This has been rescheduled for Saturday, January 21st. Please mark your calendars.
Additionally, ANG has extended its annual Poinsettia Sale until Sunday, November 20th. Please use this link to order. Your order can be picked up between December 3rd - 4th at Goochland High School Greenhouse.

Bulldog Corner Store
Do you need holiday gift ideas for family and friends? If so, look no further! If you are a student, stop by the GHS School Store every Friday to purchase your Bulldog Apparel! Parents and students can also order online through the Goochland High School website. We will only be open for four more Fridays before winter break, so don’t delay! We have limited sizes available! Club Fair
On Tuesday, November 15th students will participate in a club fair during 3rd period. GHS has over 30 clubs and organizations to choose from. Goochland Baseball Hot Stove Event
The 2nd Annual Goochland Hot Stove League will be held on Saturday, November 19th, at Camp T. Brady Saunders Boy Scout Camp starting at 9:00 am. The event will include several former MLB, college players, and coaches, including the 1984 World Series Champion Tracy Woodson (this is a change from previous messages). There will be an opportunity for autographs, a food truck, and a silent auction. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased in advance through Ticket Spicket. All proceeds benefit the Goochland High School Baseball Program. This event is great for athletes considering baseball beyond high school and baseball fans in general. If you love baseball, we hope you will make plans to attend the 2nd Annual Goochland Hot Stove League event!
Goochland Christmas Mother Food Drive
Tis’ the Season for Giving! GHS is collecting canned food for the Goochland Christmas Mother from November 14th - November 22nd. We are asking for canned goods and peanut butter but we will take any non-perishable food that you have to offer. We cannot accept food that is in glass containers. Food can be turned into your child's Day 2 Block 1 teacher. This year there are so many in our community who are struggling to pay bills and keep food on the table. Be a Christmas Angel and help those in need. Thank you
InterAct Club Candy Drive
Do you have extra Halloween candy that you would like to get rid of? The InterAct Club is holding a Candy Drive for the GHS Veterans Project and would love to have your extra Halloween candy. Your child can bring it to school and leave it in the brown bag in their Block 1 class or you can drop it off at Main Office. This drive will end on Tuesday, November 22nd. If you have specific questions, please contact Anteal Gargiulo (agargiulo@glnd.k12.va.us).
PowerSchool & Canvas Reminders
We would like to remind you that official course grades can be found in PowerSchool and are updated weekly. If you do not have a PowerSchool account, please email Catherine Richards, our Instructional Technology Coach, at crichards@glnd.k12.va.us for your access code.
Canvas will allow you to view your child’s assignments, course content, and announcements from teachers. If you do not have a parent Canvas account, please follow the directions here to get started.
Student Pictures
The last call for senior pictures is Thursday, November 17th. The underclassmen's make-up day will be Tuesday, November 29th. Please contact Ms. Schnakenberg (mschnakenberg@glnd.k12.va.us) to schedule your make-up pictures.

Winter Coat Driver
Goochland County Schools is hosting a Winter Coat Drive from November 14th-November 18th, 2022. We want to make sure every student who may need it, has a coat this winter! Help us meet this goal, by making a donation of new or gently used coats of all sizes to all GCPS schools. There will be a designated bin to drop off your donation by the front office at GHS. If your child needs a coat, a google form will be sent out following our drive.
Yearbooks
To pre-order your 2023 yearbook, please go to balfour.com. Currently, the price is $60. The price goes up to $70 on January 1, 2023. To avoid over-ordering, we will ONLY order enough yearbooks this year for those who pay by February 1, 2023. Seniors can also purchase Senior ads at this site. If you have any questions, please contact Ms. Schnakenberg (mschnakenberg@glnd.k12.va.us).
