On Thursday, August 19th, we will host our Back-to-School Night. The list of activities includes:
- Students will report directly to their Bulldog Block locations (posted throughout the school) to get their class schedules, health forms, and the Code of Conduct signature page.
- Students and their parents will have the opportunity to do a meet-and-greet with their teachers, school counselors, and other support staff from 4:00 - 7:00 pm.
- School Counseling will be available for individual meetings with students who have the following scheduling concerns:
- Scheduled for a class already passed
- Schedules for a class in which they have not met the prerequisite
- Schedules with a hole (denoted by “See Counselor” on the schedule)
- Parking Fees and Registration
- 11th-grade and 12th-grade students currently have access to purchase their parking pass on the GHS online payment system.
- We ask that our juniors and seniors complete the GHS Parking Registration Form and email it to Mrs. Hudak (ahudak@glnd.k12.va.us).
- Please be mindful that you must have a Virginia driver’s license to purchase a pass.
- The online payment system will open to 10th-grade students who have already obtained their driver’s license on Monday, August 23rd.
- Food Trucks will be available in the outer bus loop for a quick and easy dinner.
- The GHS faculty and staff will join our community for food and fun from 7:00 - 8:00 pm.
