💥💥Bulldog Recognitions💥💥

Class of 2025 College Acceptances - Attention seniors! We would love to acknowledge your college acceptances as you have gotten in. Please fill out this form. You must be logged in to your GLND email to access to submit. Please let us know so we can recognize YOU on your accomplishments! Be sure to contact your counselor with any questions. HERE is a map of where our seniors have been accepted so far.

Get to Know Some of our Amazing Bulldogs - Throughout the remainder of the school year, we will be highlighting our “teacher-recognized” students each week.

  • Lily Garzon was nominated by Mrs. Thomasson for a BARKS award during marking period 1! She is a 10th grader whose favorite class is English with Ms. Calabrese. She also loves being on the wrestling team. One fun fact about her is that she has over 13 dogs at home! Her favorite dog is named Jess Mae. Congratulations, Lily!

  • Lukas Sutherland was nominated by Mrs. Black for a BARKS award! He is in 9th grade and although he doesn't have a favorite class right now, his favorite subject is history. He plays baseball at Tuckahoe and volunteers with animals in his free time. A fun fact about him is that he has brown flecks in only one eye! Great job, Lukas!

MCJROTC Raider Team - Over the break, our Cadets competed in the prestigious Wolfpack Challenge at Garfield High School in Prince William County on November 23rd. Goochland High School took FIRST PLACE out of 20 high schools in our region, claiming the title of Ultimate Raider! This is a monumental achievement for our Raider Team and a testament to their dedication, discipline, and teamwork. Junior, Jerry Fry, earned a special honor by taking first place in the individual Ultimate Raider Challenge, outshining 240 other competitors. For those unfamiliar, a JROTC Raider Challenge is a grueling competition designed to test physical fitness, leadership, and teamwork. Cadets compete in activities like obstacle courses, rope bridge construction, endurance runs, and physical fitness challenges. These events push participants to their limits, demanding the highest levels of discipline, resilience, and collaboration. Congratulations to our Raider Team and to Jerry Fry for their incredible accomplishments. You’ve made Goochland High School proud!
