The Goochland Education Foundation Gala will host their Annual Gala on Saturday, April 28th from 6-10pm at Hermitage Country Club. The Goochland Education Foundation supports Goochland County Public Schools by securing funding to create innovative learning opportunities for GCPS students. Come out and support the students of Goochland Drama in their upcoming production of Fiddler on the Roof! The show dates and times are Friday, April 27th at 7 p.m., Saturday, April 28th at 7 p.m. and Sunday, April 29th at 2:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students. We hope to see you there!
Students are encouraged to consider applying to attend the 18th Annual Minority Law and Research Institute. The Minority Law and Research Institute is designed to expose and prepare underrepresented students to consider careers in Law. The program is designed for rising 10th, 11th and 12th grade students. Dr. Hayden will hold an interest meeting on Wednesday, May 25th during Bulldog Block. Interested students should contact Mr. Collier (email@example.com) to attend the meeting. Goochland is hosting our annual Goochland Transition Fair on Tuesday, April 17th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Goochland High School. If you’re available, please consider attending. Bridget Parker (our transition specialist) has arranged for agency representatives from service providers, such as DARS, Courage to Succeed, and Reynold’s PAVE program, to talk with parents and students during this event about services and supports that may be available to students after high school.
