Please email Mrs. Whitmore if you have any questions (email@example.com).
Senior Signing Day will be held on Tuesday, May 4th and Thursday, May 6th to celebrate where seniors will be next year. Seniors will be able to sign up for a day and time slot beginning on Monday, April 26th. We are asking seniors to let us know where they will be next year and submit a picture for a slide show via this google form by Friday, April 30th. We want to celebrate all seniors whether they are attending college, trade school, military, or heading into the workforce. There will also be a small gift to our seniors who participate in this event. We look forward to celebrating our seniors’ accomplishments on those days!
Parents, please remember to complete your child’s health screening every day, even on days when your child isn’t scheduled for in-person or has a planned absence. Additionally, if your child has any Covid-19 symptoms (listed on the health screener) or has been told they are a close contact to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, please do not send them to school and notify Nurse Duffey (firstname.lastname@example.org). This is how we can continue to keep all of our students and staff safe and healthy for the remainder of the year. Thanks for your continued cooperation and support!
While maintaining safe social distancing procedures, students at Goochland High School have been rehearsing in person for our upcoming spring show, The Drowsy Chaperone.
Opening on Broadway in 2006, The Drowsy Chaperone is an upbeat comedy where a man in a chair puts on his favorite record: the cast recording of the fictitious 1928 musical, The Drowsy Chaperone. As the record plays, the musical comes to life inside the man’s apartment.
We hope you join us for this streaming event! The stream will take place on the platform showtix4U on Fridays, May 14th and Saturday, May 15th at 7:00 pm, and on Sunday, May 16th at 2:00 pm. For ticket information, please visit drama.goochlandschools.org.
