This Friday, May 1st, will be our first Virtual Bulldog Spirit Day! We encourage you to follow us on Instagram @ghs_bulldogs and tag us in a post or story as you show your Goochland pride. If you do not use Instagram, but would be willing to let us share your pictures on social media, please drop them HERE. Keep an eye out for a post on Instagram with more details later this week. We can’t wait to see that Bulldog spirit!
Archives for April 2020
Congratulations to Ms. Anne Marie Hudak, who was named the 2020 GCPS Teacher of the Year! We are so proud to have her as a member of the Bulldog Family, and we know that she will represent Goochland well at the State level competition.
Additional congratulations go to Ms. Alex Gerkin, who was recently selected as the 2020 GCPS Secondary Rookie of the Year! We are so happy to have her in our Bulldog Family and look forward to many more years of seeing her provide exceptional lessons for our students!
Bulldog families, you can stay connected and up-to-date with GHS announcements through Schoology and Instagram! Check out the resources below:
Schoology: Schoology provides a Parent Guide to support parents with understanding how to support your student in Schoology and changing preferences.
Instagram: Follow @ghs_bulldogs for weekly Bulldog Bulletins, teacher account listings, and fun Instagram challenges. There may be a surprise or two coming up!
We are excited to announce that we have enabled free WiFi at all of our school parking lots near the front office/main entrance areas. The ability to connect may vary based on your device and your proximity to the access point. The network name is “Public Wireless”, and no password is required. Users are still subject to GCPS content filtering while using access points. There is no time limit or bandwidth usage limit on these access points. Please be sure to practice all recommended social distancing if you are in the parking lots with other community members.
All GHS academic and event updates have been compiled into THIS DOCUMENT. As we receive more information to share, it will be updated in the linked document, as well as through School Messenger and Schoology updates. We hope you are doing well and staying safe!
