On Tuesday, September 27^th, we will host our 2016 GHS Spirit Night Chili Cook Off and Powder Puff Game. Entry is only $15.00! We have cash prizes for the top 3 winners and a cash prize for the best decorated booth. We know Goochland has some amazing chili makers out there!! Don’t delay and sign up today!

Don’t cook chili? No problem, come out and sample (judge) some great chili while watching the annual Powder Puff football game! So, either bring your best chili or just come out to judge!! It promises to be a fun night! All proceeds go to the athletic programs.

2016 GHS SPIRIT NIGHT CHILI COOK

Calling all parents! Football season is now in full swing. We know you are all just excited as we are; however, GHS Athletic Boosters needs your help. We are in need of volunteers for the concession stand during our Varsity and JV football home games. The funds raised at the concession stands help support all athletic programs. So, please help support our coaches and athletes by signing up to volunteer by emailing Susan Doczi at sdoczi@aol.com! We will also have signup sheets during our JV and Varsity games. We thank you in advance for your support.

A huge thank you goes out to all the parents who helped open the Bulldog Football season in the concession stand Friday night! We couldn’t have done it without you!

If you are interested in running for class office, please come by the E pod in the history department and pick up a candidate packet. This must be completed and turned in to Mrs. Dewey or Mr. Collier no later than Monday, August 29, 2016.
