QuestBridge for the 2016 College Prep Scholars Program
The deadline for students to apply is March 23, 2016
QuestBridge is a nationally recognized nonprofit that has connected more than 13,000 high-achieving, low-income students with full four-year scholarships or generous financial aid to attend the nation’s best colleges. These students have advanced to become leaders in their workplaces and communities, and many of them started their paths to success as College Prep Scholars.
The College Prep Scholars Program gives talented 11th graders the preparation they need to not only get into top colleges, but possibly attend for free. Here’s what you need to know:
- Who is qualified to be a College Prep Scholar? A high school junior, typically with an unweighted GPA pf 3.5 or above in the most challenging courses, whose family earns less than $65,000 annually (for a typical family of four).
- What can College Prep Scholars receive? Full scholarships to summer programs at schools like Yale and Stanford • Personalized college essay review • An exclusive invitation to a National College Admissions Conference to interact with admissions officers from top colleges • All-expense-paid campus visits • Specialized guidance and a head start on applying to college • Distinction as a competitive candidate for admission to their college partners • Plus more!
- How do students apply? The free online application, available at http://www.questbridge.org in mid-February, is due on March 23, 2016.
