GHS is pleased to host four foreign exchange students this year. Joining the bulldog family this year are students from China, Germany, and Vietnam.

It’s homecoming week at Goochland High School. Students have enjoyed a special spirit focus each day that will conclude on Friday with the annual homecoming pep rally and football game. Additionally, students will enjoy the homecoming dance Saturday evening. Special thanks to SCA sponsors, sophomore class sponsors, and all students who have contributed to making this a great homecoming week.

Virginia Museum of Fine Arts – 2016-2017
VMFA is committed to supporting Virginia’s professional artists and art students who demonstrate exceptional creative ability in their chosen fields. To this end, VMFA awards fellowships to professional artists, graduate and undergraduate art students, graduate art history students, and college-bound high school seniors.
Having awarded more than $5 million in fellowships, thanks to endowment earnings and private contributions, VMFA is a vital source of funding for the visual arts in Virginia.
VMFA is now accepting applications for the following 2016-2017 fellowships: $8,000 Professional; $6,000 Graduate; and $4,000 Undergraduate
